2019 Artlinc Judges

This year we are doing something new and exciting for Artlinc 2019! For the first time we will have judges to judge the art, there will be a 1st $500, 2nd $350, and 3rd $150 prizes.

Judges Are:

Wim Roefs – if Art Gallery

Mr Roefs is a Art Dealer and Curator, and owner of if Art Gallery in the Vista on Lincoln Street. if ART Gallery shows contemporary art by artists from South Carolina, the rest of the United States, and Europe. Mr Roefs also serves as board chair for 701 Center for Contemporary Art that was founded in 2007.

A native of Ridgeland, South Carolina, Lloyd has dedicated his life to God, family, community and education. He has been successful in life because he never gave up. Raised in Pine Grove AME Church, he has had several influential mentors from the congregation to serve as his pillars of support and beacons of direction. Having role models in the congregation who looked like him made him realize that he too can be successful and prosperous in life.

While in college, Lloyd was a member of Alpha Kappa PSI the Professional Business Fraternity. Upon completing college, he went on to become an insurance salesman where he learned the ins and outs of the insurance industry. After countless peaks and valleys while working for Jefferson Pilot, Blue Cross & Blue Shield Broker and Geico he realized there was something missing. That something was making it a priority to improve customer experience by mentoring, providing personal interaction and resolving complex issues for every individual who crosses his path.

Lloyd’s sense of loyalty & dedication is evident in his commitment to Philanthropy, community involvement and sincerity. He is most certainly a man of integrity, honesty, commitment, faithfulness and accountability.


Loretta S. Neal of Imagine This Boutique

Loretta S. Neal stands at the forefront of the fastest moving fashion industry trend: local boutique ownership. She has spent more than a decade establishing herself as an independent retailer and in November 2015 opened a brick and mortar store – Imagine This Boutique – in Columbia’s downtown Vista district.

Before her passion for fashion exploded into boutique ownership, Loretta spent her professional and corporate career as a print journalist for the Columbia Record and the State newspapers, as an independent public relations and marketing consultant, and long time Director of Public Affairs for the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice. She is a longtime resident of lower Richland County.

Loretta holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with specialization in business marketing from Southern Wesleyan University. Her study of varies aspects of the fashion industry is ongoing.

Her business and professional involvement has included the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Lexington Chamber of Commerce, and the Vista Guild. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc.

Presently, her concentration is on nurturing a business built on honesty, friendship, and loyal clients. She has a passion for the arts, travel and shopping at fashion industry markets for unique quality clothing styles and accessories for her boutique clients.
